My background
I have worked in many different fields over the years, including creative workshops with children, training courses with the police, social services and business, public art commissions and consultancies, mental health services, acting and circus performing.
I consider my best qualification to be that I myself was ill
for seven years ... and then, in 2006, I did The Lightning Process™ training course and used the tools to feel (and stay) completely better. A big thank you to my Lightning Process trainer, Amir.
Since then, I have studied at the European College of Holistic Medicine in London, gaining a diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy, NLP and Life Coaching as well as further study and extensive clinical practice resulting in the award of the Advanced Practitioner's Certificate in The Lightning Process™. I have gained a diploma with distinction studying with Stephen Brooks, who brought Ericksonian hypnotherapy to the UK in the seventies and is considered a world authority on the therapeutic use and teaching of NLP and hypnotherapy.
I am a member of The British Institute of Hypnotherapy (MBIH) and abide by their code of ethics.
I also have a postgraduate diploma in Occupational Therapy (Dip COT) and a B.A.(Hons).
